    Augustana is hosting “An Evening of Poetry with Jim Fairhall” on Monday, November 23 , beginning at 7:00 p.m. Fairhall teaches modern literature at DePaul University in Chicago and is also director of the Irish Studies Program.

  • Augustana Theatre presents It’s a Wonderful Life

    Augustana Theatre continues the 2009-10 season with James W. Rogers’ adaptation of the Frank Capra film, It’s a Wonderful Life. The performance on Thursday, November 19, will be interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing.

    “A Love of Three Oranges: The Works of Mary Selvig and Martin Wanserski” runs through Saturday, December 12 at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, and 12:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday.

  • Notre Dame Sociologist to Present Home Mortgage Lending Lecture

    Dr. Richard A. Williams, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Notre Dame, will present a lecture titled “Racial, Economic, and Institutional Disparities in Home Mortgage Lending” at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5.

  • Augustana Presents The Big Music Roll-Out

    The Department of Performing & Visual Arts kicks off the season with The Big Music Roll-Out, featuring five music events November 3-8. The events include original compositions, a world premiere, intimate recitals and enormous explosions of sound.

    Pervez Musharraf, President of Pakistan from 2001-2008, and Chief Executive of Pakistan from 1999-2001, is the speaker for the 2009 Boe Forum on Public Affairs. The title of his talk is “The Internal and External Dynamics of Pakistan.”
