Administrative Personnel Council

The Administrative Personnel Council (APC) serves as a forum for exchanging information, discussing issues, and advising the President concerning matters of importance either to the Council or the President.

Eight council members are elected at-large for three-year terms and may serve two consecutive terms. The President and the Vice President for Human Resources will be ex-officio members but without vote. Members of the President's advisory council and the campus pastor, because of the nature of their positions, will be ineligible to serve on the council.

Annually, the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Administrative Personnel Council will prepare and distribute ballots to all eligible administrators. In the event that a council member is unable to fulfill his/her term, the council may appoint an administrator to fill the remainder of the term.

Officers will be elected from within the council at the first APC meeting after the general election. Officers will consist of a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and Secretary serving one-year terms and, if re-elected, may serve for two consecutive terms.

Full-time administrators who hold letters of appointment for nine or more months will be eligible to vote in APC elections or serve on the Administrative Personnel Council.
