Promotion and Transfer

The administrative structure is organized around specific assignments and titles. Administrative appointments, therefore, are made to specific job positions and titles. There are no formal grade levels or ranks within positions.

Open administrative positions are filled either by candidacy searches or by redesignation of a current employee. Employees are encouraged to apply for open administrative positions. An administrative position shall be filled on the basis of the candidate's qualifications for the position without regard to the race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, or handicap status of the applicant.
