Windows Computers

You will need to have current virus protection to connect to Augustana's network. We recommend AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition or Microsoft Security Essentials. Both of these products are free and do a very good job. They also work well with our Cisco Network authentication system.

Macintosh Computers

Currently we do not have a recommended anti-virus product for Macintosh computers. There are serveral subscription versions, including one from Symantec. A free version that we have heard good things about is ClamXav.

Linux Computers

Currently we do not have a recommended anti-virus product for Linux computers. A free version that may be worth checking into is ClamAV.
