You have serveral options available for webpage construction. Pages can be built in Microsoft Word and saved as HTML, they can be built with Netscape Composer or you can use Macromedia's Dreamweaver (installed in Madsen 001). You can also contact Sharon Gray the Educational Technologist for help in setting up a page.

Once your page is built, publishing it to the web is very simple. In your J:Drive create a folder called public_html. Put all of your web files in that folder. When you have done that, you should be able to access the page with this address http://student.augie.edu/~yourlogin. For example, Sharon Gray's pages can be located by typing in http://faculty.augie.edu/~gray

If you have created a webpage on the inst system, you will need to move that over to your J:Drive. Click here for instructions on moving your current page.
