Accessing Your Augie Files With a Web Browser
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. In the Address Bar type:
ftp://.faculty.augie@tucker.augie.edu/
- A login box will pop up –
Log in using full context. (.username.faculty.augie)
Password: same as your Novell/Ole Password
4. After you are in your J: Drive you can add it to your favorites to easily access it later.
In order to work on your files, you will need to copy them to your computer. When you are ready to save them to the J: Drive, you will need to upload them back to the server. You can do this by dragging the file to your Desktop to work on it and then back to the ftp tucker window when you are done.
If you have problems check your version of Internet Explorer. It may need to be updated.
