NetDrive Installation Instructions

Click here to download the NetDrive client.

The following box will appear.  You can choose to Save the file and then install it or you can choose Open which will begin the install process.

Click on Open or Save the file.

Click OK for English

Next

Yes to the License Agreement

Then choose where the program will be installed.  The default location is usually best.

Click Yes, to restart the computer.

Now you are ready to set up and run NetDrive.

Open NetDrive by clicking on Start>Programs>netdrive>Netdrive

Choose a name for your site.  ie: Augie Files, JDrive etc.

The site address is tucker.augie.edu

Then click Finish

Under Server Type choose FTP to access files on your J drive or iFolder to access your iFolder in this way.

Choose a drive letter to be used for NetDrive.  Choose a letter you know is not being used already.  If you get an error, just choose another letter and try again.

Uncheck Anonymous/Public Logon

Fill in your username.  This is your Novell login using the full context.  (.username.faculty.augie)

Click on Connect.

Type in your Novell password.  Click OK

You are now logged in to your J drive.  If you go to My Computer or Windows Explorer you will see a new drive.  Double click to access your files.  These files “live” on your J Drive unless you save them to your local computer.  Pressing Save will save it back to your J Drive.

This is the window you will see if you are using My Computer.
