Mikkelsen Library provides free interlibrary loan to Augustana faculty, students, and affiliates. In cases where the loaning library assesses a fee, that fee is passed on to the person asking for the material. Library staff try to identify no-cost sources first, although in some instances the material is only available from libraries that charge. In addition, there are instances when the material can be obtained more quickly from a source that charges a fee. Library staff will try to contact you if the fee will be higher than the amount indicated on your request. We encourage you to choose a realistic amount because it will save time in processing your request.
