complete text of the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology,
Access Science also includes special areas just for students,
including ideas for topics for research papers, etc.
- Applied
Science & Technology Abstracts
- Contains bibliographic
coverage of more than 560 core English-language, scientific and
technical publications with coverage from 1983 to the present. Access
to this database is being provided by funding from the BRIN
grant (via USD).
- JSTOR

- Provides access to core,
scholarly journals in many disciplines including mathematics.
Coverage begins with volume 1 for each title. Depending on the publisher,
the current 3-5 years may not be available on JSTOR.
- ERIC:
Educational Resource Information Center
- Especially good for
topics related to teaching mathematics. Spanning 1966-present, ERIC
consists of two subsets: Journals in Education (JIE) and Resources
in Education (RIE).

Resources
American Mathematical Society includes information on all AMS programs, services, meetings and membership, as well as resources, tools and news for mathematicians, journalists, publishers, librarians and the general public.
S.O.S.Mathematics
Offers straightforward technical assistance primarily to high school
and college students. Also includes a comprehensive listing of Math
sites in the Internet.
MathArchives
From the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, this site is an extremely
well organized resource for both students and teachers. It provides
a wide range of links to software, teaching materials, and topics
in mathematics, together with a searchable database.
