RILM
Abstracts of Music Literature
A comprehensive international guide to writings about music, RILM's coverage includes all types and aspects of music. Featuring articles written in over 100 languages, RILM includes well over a quarter million entries. All scholarly works are covered, including articles from more than 5200 journals, as well as books, conference proceedings, dissertations, Festschriften, reviews, catalogues, and more.

ERIC
Spanning 1966-present, ERIC is the primary database for educational research and consists of two subsets; JIE (Journals in Education) and RIE (Resources in Education). It is especially good for teachers.

Use either the Cambridge Scientific Abstracts interface or go to the U.S. Dept. of Education website

With the full text appearing as an exact image of the page from the journal, JSTOR includes the complete run of such core music journals as Musical times, Cambridge Opera Journal, and Journal of Musicology .

Naxos Music Library is a unique resource, giving students online access to the entire Naxos catalogue of recordings, plus others. Through a sophisticated online search engine, researchers can select works by composer, artist, period, year of composition, instrument or genre. Playlists can also be easily created for educational use, or for hours of continuous enjoyment. While listening, music lovers can read insightful information about the works, artists and composers.
