Forty-five Augustana students are included in the 2010 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, an elite group of students from more than 2,000 institutions of higher learning across the country.

Beth Singleton, a senior from Moorhead, MN, has been named winner of the 2009 Augustana Covenant Award for Christian Faith. Beth, a religion and philosophy major, is serving as president of the Augustana Congregation.

The Department of Performing & Visual Arts at Augustana kicks off the season with The Big Music Roll-Out, featuring five music events November 3-8. The events include original compositions, a world premiere, intimate recitals and enormous explosions of sound.
