Four Elected to Augustana Board of Trustees

SIOUX FALLS, SD – Delegates attending the Augustana Association’s annual meeting on December 4, elected four Augustana alums to serve on the College’s Board of Trustees.
They are Jennifer Kirby, class of 1993; David Lillehaug, class of 1976; Pastor Greg Wilcox, class of 1978; and Laura Doshier, class of 2007. The three-year terms begin January 1, 2010. All but Doshier are eligible to serve four three-year terms. As the Young Trustee, Doshier will serve one three-year term. Delegates also elected Kirk Dean (Fargo, ND) to a second three-year term.
Jennifer Kirby is Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Palm Desert National Bank in Palm Desert, CA. She began her career in financial services at Wells Fargo & Company in Sioux Falls in 1994, and received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2001. Jennifer and her husband, Joe, live in Rancho Mirage, CA.
David Lillehaug is a partner in the law firm of Fredrikson & Byron. His practice focuses primarily on complex litigation, but he assists clients on a variety of sensitive matters at the intersection of law, business, and government. He has served as US Attorney for Minnesota, and was a candidate for the United States Senate. He earned his law degree from Harvard University.
Pastor Greg Wilcox has worked at the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society in Sioux Falls since 1988. He currently serves as Vice President for Mission Effectiveness. Ordained in 1983, Pastor Wilcox received both his Master’s and Doctorate of Ministry from Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul. Pastor Wilcox and his wife, Gail, live in Sioux Falls.
Laura Doshier is a third-year medical student at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. A native of Rapid City, SD, she majored in economics at Augustana with a minor in biology. She graduated with summa cum laude distinction.
Completing 12-year terms on the board were Lyle Bien (Encinitas, CA), Greg Schultz (Sioux Falls), and Janine Rew-Werling (Milbank, SD). Micah Aberson (Sioux Falls) completed a three-year term as the Young Trustee.
