"Let me Google that" is not a phrase Senior Carolyn Johnson from Goodhue, Minnesota, was able to use while working on her senior and honors theses. Her research has yet to hit the Internet but can be found in the form of letters written during World War I at the Center for Western Studies.

Augustana Raising Funds for Nepal Earthquake Victims

Following the recent earthquakes in Nepal, Augustana's Chapel of Reconciliation, students and staff are raising funds to help support victims of the disaster. All funds raised will be given to Lutheran Disaster Response. 

Senior Finds His Field of Dreams

Two Seniors Present at Regional History Honor Society Conference

Seniors Lauren Evans from Freeport, Illinois, and Carolyn Johnson from Goodhue, Minnesota, presented their senior theses at the Phi Alpha Theta conference at the University of South Dakota this week. Both presentations were well received and Johnson was awarded the Phi Alpha Theta Award for best paper related to women's history.

Students Present Research at Symposium

Ever wondered about “The Effects of Facebook on Memory” or “Stress and Sleep Difficulties: Differences Between College Majors” or how one goes about “Fighting Cancer With Broccoli”? Research and discoveries related to those questions and many others were shared by Augustana undergraduate student researchers Saturday afternoon at the 2015 Arthur Olsen Student Research Symposium, held in the Humanities Center on campus.
