Augustana College is reporting a 250 percent increase in the number of students enrolled in its anthropology major. This fall, Augustana’s student roster will list 21 anthropology majors.

Dr. Richard W. Forman, professor emeritus of Mathematics, died Wednesday, June 30. He was 82. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 6, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Senior Bethany Jochim, a physics major, has been named a Rossing Physics Scholar for 2010-2011. Jochim will receive a $10,000 scholarship from the Thomas D. Rossing Fund for Physics Education Endowment.
