  • Host, Friendship Families Sought for International Students

    "As alumni, we were interested in getting involved ... we have always enjoyed learning about different cultures. Being able to provide a 'home' off campus was appealing to us," said Becca Conner '05. Becca and her husband, Bryan '05, served as a host family to Jhon Ramirez Arias, a junior Communications major from Costa Rica, last summer. Augustana is again seeking Sioux Falls-area families for its Host and Friendship Family Programs beginning Saturday, Aug. 11.

  • Annual Meeting, Worship and Tours of Newly Renovated Heritage Park Set for Sunday

    The Annual Meeting of the Nordland Heritage Foundation, the organization that brought iconic examples of Great Plains settlement to campus, including the Beaver Creek Lutheran Church, the Berdahl/Rolvaag House, the Eggers School House and the Rolvaag Writing Cabin will be held on Sunday, June 10. Tours of Heritage Park will also be held each Sunday through August 26.
