Dr. Arthur Huseboe, 78, executive director of the Center for Western Studies at Augustana for 20 years, died Saturday, March 13, at his home in Sioux Falls following a long bout with cancer.
Thirty-eight students traveled abroad during Augustana’s spring break. Four separate courses were offered in Guatemala, Greece, France, and Scotland. Currently, about half of Augustana students have been abroad by the time they graduate.
Seventeen members of the Augustana Band have been chosen to perform in the 2010 South Dakota Inter-Collegiate Band, joining students from eight other South Dakota universities and colleges to perform at the 2010 South Dakota High School All-State Band Convention.
