Augustana Mourns Loss of Dr. Art Olsen

Dr. Arthur (Art) Olsen, professor emeritus of philosophy and religion and former provost, passed away on Sunday, May 4. During his tenure, Olsen served Augustana for more than 40 years and remained a dedicated advocate for the College even after his retirement. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 26.

Conference to Focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders June 12-13

Recent numbers by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that one in 68 children today has a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder — up 30 percent in just two years. The Lighting the Way Conference will focus on autism spectrum disorders in our community June 12-13 on the Augustana campus.

Nate Dally Named 2014 Augie Pride Award Recipient

In recognition of his exceptional service to the College, Senior Director of Development Nate Dally received the 2014 Augie Pride award at the Augustana Service Awards Presentation and Celebration on Wednesday afternoon. 

Augustana Mourns Loss of Cathy Lindamood

Cathy Lindamood, Augustana's assistant director of Study Abroad, passed away on Sunday, April 20, following a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service is planned for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at Augustana's Chapel of Reconciliation.

Luxembourg Ambassador to Visit Campus

Jean-Louis Wolzfeld, Luxembourg's Ambassador to the United States, will address Augustana students at the annual Government and International Affairs/Political Science Department banquet on Thursday, May 1.
