Last fall, Augustana's Dr. Drew Alton, associate professor of physics, in partnership with Nancy Weidenbach, Julie Alton, and Leah Howes from Harrisburg North Middle School, received a grant from the South Dakota Space Grant Consortium to bring computer programming, robots and drones to middle school students. The Entrepreneurial Mindset Academy is an eight-week program designed to help participants discover problem-solving opportunities and think like entrepreneurs. The Academy is designed as a partnership between the Augustana Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the South Dakota Technology Business Center.
