Twenty-nine students were recognized during worship in the Chapel of Reconciliation on Monday as nominees for the 2012 Augustana Covenant Awards. The Covenant Awards will be presented during a ceremony beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 20, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
Rev. Ann Rosendale '04 has been named a campus pastor at Augustana. She will begin her new role with Rev. Dr. Paul Rohde in ministry to the Augustana community on Monday, April 16. "We are thrilled that Pastor Ann has accepted the call to be campus pastor ... we are grateful both for her giftedness and her willingness to serve," said Rohde.

Augustana students Ashley Schmidt (Mitchell, S.D.) and Erika Zetterlund (St. Cloud, Minn.) are among 282 college students nationwide to receive the prestigious Goldwater Scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year, an award for accomplished college students who intend to pursue careers in science, mathematics and engineering.
