Larry Borgum ‘61, a longtime and beloved Athletics and Financial Aid official for Augustana, died on Monday, Aug. 6. He was 73. "Borgie," as he was known, joined the College in 1967 and served in various roles during his tenure, supporting Athletic Services, Sports Information, the Athletic Business Office and Financial Aid. Services are set for Saturday, Aug. 11.
Senior Megan Baker has been awarded the prestigious American Cultural Ambassadors Fellowship for her project, “Bringing the World Together – One Ability at a Time,” a camp for people with special needs in Moldova.

Following a recent vote of approval by the South Dakota Department of Education, Augustana’s K-12 Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (EDHH) Program will expand to a Birth through Age 21 program. Augustana continues to be the only Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program in the region.
