Student-Led 'Wear Pink' Effort to Raise Awareness for Breast Cancer

Augustana's Colleges Against Cancer chapter is organizing efforts around breast cancer awareness

In recognition of national Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Augustana's student chapter of Colleges Against Cancer (CAC) is organizing a "wear pink" initiative to raise awareness about the disease and the importance of early detection. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to wear pink on Wednesdays throughout the month of October. On Wednesday, Oct. 7, all students, faculty and staff should gather for a "wear pink" group photo at 10:30 a.m. in front of the Ole the Viking statue near the center of campus.
