  • U.S. News Ranks Augustana No. 3 Among Best Regional Colleges

    Augustana is ranked No. 3 among the "Best Regional Colleges in the Midwest" according to the latest edition of “Best Colleges 2013,” an annual ranking of more than 1,800 schools nationwide by U.S. News Media Group. The College is also ranked No. 2 in the Midwest in the report’s analysis of schools that offer students the best value.

  • 2012 Graduate to be Commissioned as Air Force Officer

    When class of 2012 graduate Lynae Fisher is commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force later this week, she will become Augustana's first Air Force ROTC program graduate to be commissioned as an Air Force officer. Next up, she'll report to California for six months to train for her new role as a Space and Missile Operations Officer.

    Internet activist Jared Cohen, former advisor to Secretaries of State Condoleezza Rice and Hillary Clinton, author, member of the Council on Foreign Relations and director of Google Ideas, will speak at the 2012 Boe Forum on Public Affairs on Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Elmen Center.

    Senior English major Hal Thompson, a native of Sioux Falls and a member of Augustana's Civitas Program, presented his research at the international Futures and Illusions conference, held last weekend at the University of Iowa.

  • In the News: Augustana Students Learn Fire Safety Measures

    With the start of classes just days away, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue officials conducted fire safety education with Augustana peer advisors Wednesday on campus. PAs learned about general fire safety, participated in a hands-on fire extinguisher training and took part in a high-rise, aerial truck-assisted rescue from the top floor of Stavig Hall.
