  • Augustana Ranked Among Top 100 NCAA Schools for Academic, Athletic Success

    Augustana ranks high in both academics and athletics in the 10th annual NCSA Athletic Recruiting Collegiate Power Rankings. The College is ranked fourth among NCAA Division II schools, No. 28 amongst 1,066 active NCAA member schools and is the only school listed in the overall top 100 from South Dakota or North Dakota.

  • Work by Alumnus, Playwright Receives National Recognition

    A play by Augustana alumnus Jon Josten, class of 2010, was named a semi-finalist for the prestigious Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference held earlier this summer in Waterford, Conn. "It's exciting and humbling to have the work honored in this way," Josten said.

  • National Science Foundation Grant to Fund High Intensity Laser

    Augustana is part of the multi-institutional team that recently received a Major Research Instrumentation grant from the National Science Foundation. The $692,927 award will fund a high-intensity tunable femtosecond laser.
