Iconic GSC Dioramas to be on Display at Prehistoric Indian Village

As construction advances on Augustana’s new Froiland Science Complex, three large dioramas, iconic hallmarks of the original Gilbert Science Center, were moved to their new location at the Prehistoric Indian Village in Mitchell, South Dakota, on Monday.

Dr. Christopher Unger Named Director of Bands at Augustana

Augustana today announced that Dr. Christopher Unger has been named assistant professor of music and director of bands. In his new role, Unger will serve as only the fifth director of the acclaimed Augustana Band, which made its debut on campus in 1931.
