AU Welcomes Largest Incoming Class Since 1978; Enrollment Tops 2,000

Augustana reports record enrollment.

Augustana University today reported its largest incoming class since 1978 — 481 first-year students from 20 states and 10 countries began classes at AU last week, an increase of 14 percent from last year.The University’s newest Vikings join existing students, as well as 331 graduate students, for a total headcount of 2,080, a 7.5 percent increase from last year. This marks Augustana’s largest enrollment since 1990.

2017-18 Academic Year Opens, Sophomore Honors Recognized

Augustana recognized the 2017 Sophomore Honors recipients during Opening Convocation on Tuesday, Aug. 29.

Members of the Augustana University Class of 2021 witnessed the official opening of the 2017-18 academic year on Tuesday at the Opening Convocation ceremony, held on campus in the Elmen Center. The ceremony also recognized the 2017 Sophomore Honors Award recipients. 

Class of 2021 Arrives on Campus

The voyage begins today for Augustana's newest Vikings. Arriving from 20 states and 10 countries, members of the Augustana University Class of 2021 arrived on campus Saturday morning.

2017 Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees Honored

Augustana University athletics inducted four individuals into the Augustana Athletics Hall of Fame over Viking Days. The 2017 inductees were honored at the Hall of Fame banquet on Friday, Oct.13, at the Holiday Inn City Centre.
