2015 Covenant Award Nominees Recognized

Covenant Award Nominees

Many of the Covenant Award nominees attended a chapel service recognizing their nomination this morning.

Thirty-one students were recognized in chapel earlier today as nominees for the 2015 Augustana Covenant Awards.

The Covenant Awards, the honors recognizing students who exemplify the College's five core values: Christian, Liberal Arts, Excellence, Community and Service, will be presented at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 17, in Kresge Recital Hall, as part of Verdier 2015, a week-long celebration of Augustana’s guiding values and ethics this week, April 13 - 18.

From Norwegian to English, "verdier" translates to "values; the moral principles and beliefs or accepted standards of a person or community."
