In the News: AU Students Wash Feet, Distribute Shoes For MLK Challenge

Augustana students washed feet and provided shoes for the 2017 MLK Challenge.

At its core, Augustana's Martin Luther King Challenge is a day of service. But according to AU organizers, it's also much more.The event, held on Saturday, Jan. 14, challenged students to view their service project as a challenge to be solved. This year the challenge was to provide foot care and shoes to people in need, in collaboration with Samaritan's Feet International and the Banquet. KELO-TV covered the story.

Augustana Choir Set to Tour Italy and Germany

Departing on Friday, Jan. 6, the Augustana Choir and director Dr.Paul Nesheim will travel to Italy and Germany for a two-week tour. Stops on the tour include Berlin, Genthin, Potsdam, Weimar, Erfurt, Eisenach, Leipzig and Wittenberg, Germany; Rome, Italy; and Vatican City.
