50th Reunion Class Endows Scholarship

The Class of 1964 showed their school spirit during its 50th class reunion over Viking Days, presenting President Rob Oliver with a check for $58,588.50 – the sum of gifts from 68 members of the class.

Augustana Reports Enrollment Increase

Augustana's enrollment grew 3.3 percent from last year, College officials today reported. For Fall 2014, Augustana’s total student headcount – the sum of part-time, full-time and graduate students – is 1,823. That number includes students from 29 states and 38 countries.

Augustana Remembers Dr. Donald Sneen

Dr. Sneen

Dr. Donald Sneen, professor emeritus of religion, passed away on Friday, Sept. 5, in Sioux Falls. Sneen served Augustana in the religion department for 33 years from 1962-1995 and authored four books during his career, including the history of Augustana College titled, 'Through Trials and Triumphs: A History of Augustana College.' A memorial service will take place at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13.
