Augustana Remembers Dr. Donald Sneen

Dr. Donald Sneen, professor emeritus of religion, passed away on Friday, Sept. 5, in Sioux Falls. Sneen served Augustana in the religion department for 33 years from 1962-1995 and authored four books during his career, including the history of Augustana College titled, 'Through Trials and Triumphs: A History of Augustana College.' A memorial service will take place at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Collaboration Means Free Bus Rides for Students

Through a new collaboration with the City of Sioux Falls and Sioux Area Metro (SAM), Augustana students, faculty and staff now have a new, cost-free and environmentally friendly way to travel around Sioux Falls.

After building their technology portfolios at Augustana, two computer science majors are beginning careers in the technology industry. Robert Mikhayelyan is joining Microsoft in Seattle, and Sam Bock is joining Concord USA in Minneapolis.
