Augustana Joins 'It's On Us' Campaign

Augustana today announced it has joined the national It's On Us campaign, a White House initiative aimed at ending sexual assault on college campuses.

"It's on Us is intended to emphasize the role that every member of our campus community – men and women – play in the prevention of violence," said Dr. Jim Bies, dean of students. "At Augustana, we have zero tolerance for violence of any kind. We're committed to doing even more to teach our students, especially, how to speak out and take action when they see something."

"We're excited to participate in this national effort, and to pair it with the outreach we've been doing on campus for quite some time,” Bies said.

Augustana will offer a number of It's On Us events for students and the campus community.
