Junior Awarded Benjamin Franklin Travel Grant

Connor AuchJunior Connor Auch, a French and political science/government and international affairs major from Sioux Falls, has been awarded a Benjamin Franklin Travel Grant through the French Embassy

Named after philosopher, diplomat and scientist Benjamin Franklin, the grant "aims at giving students enrolled in an American university an opportunity to discover France. As a recipient, Auch will receive $900 to use toward travel and exploration in France.

"I plan to use the grant to further and better my use and understanding of the French language by enrolling in a language intensive program for a semester in Grenoble, France," Auch said. "I will be traveling there in the fall as I am only a junior and won't be able to finish all the credits necessary to graduate till next spring."
