SIOUX FALLS – The Center for Western Studies (CWS) galleries host the Art for the Ages II show and sale beginning April 8 and continuing through June 3, 2006.
Like the inaugural event in 2005, artists from the Center for Active Generations in Sioux Falls will be displaying and selling art work they have created during the past year. Included are oil and watercolor paintings, woodcarving, metal works, and hand crafted items all made by the Active Generations arts group.
The CWS galleries are located at 2201 S. Summit Avenue in the Fantle Building on the campus of Augustana College.
On Monday, April 10, CWS will host a reception/gallery talk from 3:00-6:30 p.m. for the Art for the Ages II exhibit. The public is invited.
CWS is open from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00-5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturdays.
