SIOUX FALLS – The Center for Western Studies at Augustana College is sponsoring the 26th annual Artists of the Plains Art Show & Sale February 17-19 at the Radisson Encore Hotel, 41st Street and I-29 in Sioux Falls.
The premier showing and reception is Friday, February 17, from 7:00-9:30 p.m. The awards program begins at 8:00 p.m.
The show & sale continues Saturday, February 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, February 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Silent auction bids on selected pieces will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
Among the contemporary artists invited are Gary Steinley, Russ Duerksen, Pati Deuter, Richard Tucker, Marian Henjum, Bryan Bortnem, Rosemary Millette, Harvey Rattey, Bonnie Brahms, James Whartman, Joshua Spies, Dave Huebner, Mark Anderson, Nancyjane Huehl, Johnny Swatek, Arne Bortnem, Virginia Coudron, and Don Montileaux.
