SIOUX FALLS – Three Augustana student-athletes have earned places on the Academic All-North Central Conference Women’s Basketball Team, the league office announced today.
Senior Andrea Seefeldt (Clark, SD), junior Alison Adamson (Willmar, MN) and sophomore Laura Doshier (Rapid City, SD) represent Augustana on the 11-player team.
Seefeldt, who is majoring in Spanish and secondary education, has a 3.70 cumulative grade point average. Adamson is majoring in history and secondary education and carries a 3.98 grade point average. Doshier has a perfect 4.0 in economics.
Seefeldt has started all 26 games this season, averages 13.1 points a game, leads the team in steals with 67, and is second in assists with 3.2 a game. She leads the team in 3-point field goals (58) and has the best free-throw shooting average at 77.2 percent.
Adamson is the Vikings’ starting point guard. Through 26 games she leads the team in scoring with 13.8 points a game and in assists with 4.2. She is third in steals with 49.
Doshier has appeared in 23 games and averages 2.9 points and 2.5 rebounds a game.
