Public Reading May 9 for New Play by Ivan Fuller
SIOUX FALLS - The first public reading of a new play written by Ivan Fuller, associate professor of theatre at Augustana College, will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, in the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre on the campus of Augustana College.
Eating Into the Fabric is based on true stories from the 900-day siege of Leningrad during World War II. Research for the script has been supported by the South Dakota Humanities Council and the Augustana Research & Artists Fund.
The event is free and open to the public. Janet Brown, chair of the Performing and Visual Arts Department at Augustana, will moderate a feedback session following the reading.
Readers include Sandra Looney, Ron Robinson, Patrick Hicks, Rick Huffman, Jim Leyse, Chris Andrews, Brianna Gearhart, Wyatt Yager, John Wilkening, Alicia Swalley, Beckie Ogren, Courtney Earll, Josh Schoenfelder, and David McCoy.
