Vikings’ Adamson Finalist for All-America Honors
SIOUX FALLS – Postseason honors continue to accumulate for Augustana women’s basketball standout Alison Adamson (Willmar, MN).
The 5-foot-5 senior point guard has been chosen as one of five players to be a regional finalist for the NCAA Division II Kodak/WBCA All-America Basketball Team. In addition, she has been named to the Daktronics All-North Central Region Second Team as voted on by regional sports information directors.
The 40 regional finalists were voted on by WBCA member coaches in each of the eight regions. All are in the running for selection to the 10-member Kodak/WBCA All-America Team. The team will be announced at the Division II Women’s Basketball Banquet March 20 at the Nebraskan Student Union in Kearney, Neb.
