Kodak/WBCA Awards Adamson Honorable Mention Recognition
SIOUX FALLS – Augustana senior point guard Alison Adamson (Willmar, MN) has earned NCAA Division II Kodak/Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-America honorable mention recognition, the WBCA and Eastman Kodak Company announced today.
Adamson led the Vikings to a 25-7 overall record and runner-up honors in the North Central Conference regular season with a 9-3 mark. She led the team in scoring with 16.1 points per game, assists with 104, steals with 78, and 3-pointers with 75. During the 2006-07 season she became the 22nd player in school history to top 1,000 career points. She capped her collegiate career with 1,300 points, 13th on Augustana’s career list.
Three times she was selected to the All-NCC team, and was a two-time Academic All-NCC choice. This season she was named to the Kodak/WBCA All-North Central first team and the Daktronics All-North Central Region second team. She was also selected to the ESPN The Magazine Women’s Basketball College Division Academic All-America first team.
