Augustana will host 150 student musicians, grades seven through 12, for its 13th annual Summer Music Program, June 15-20.

Students from throughout the Upper Midwest have attended past camps. A year ago, musicians from South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Kansas, and California participated.
Students will spend the week learning from Augustana music faculty. They will be members of the summer camp band, choir, and/or orchestra. In addition, these students receive private lessons and select from enrichment classes that include jazz ensembles, vocal and instrumental chamber ensembles, show choir, piano ensemble, electronic music classes, conducting and music theory classes, and much more.
The camp concludes with solo and chamber ensembles performing on Thursday, June 19. The grand finale concert of the large ensembles will be held on Friday, June 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the Elmen Center.
