Simundson Recipient of Library Associates Research Award
Justin Simundson is the recipient of the 2008 Augustana Library Associates Research Award. His winning paper is entitled “Above No-Man’s Land: The Great War Experience of a Royal Flying Corps Pilot”.
The $250 Augustana Library Associates Research Award is given in recognition of outstanding achievement in research methodology and writing. Participants of the Augustana Symposium were eligible to submit their work for consideration.
Simundson transferred to Augustana after three years at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. A history major, he will graduate in May and plans to pursue a master’s degree in history at the University of South Dakota. Simundson is the son of Mike and Judy Simundson of Sioux Falls.
The Augustana Library Associates was established in 1983 to promote and support Mikkelsen Library and academic excellence at Augustana College.
