Augustana placed three players on the 2007-08 Academic All-North Central Conference Men's Basketball Team, the league office announced. 
Vikings earning spots on the team are Ian Thomas, David Foster, and Jordan Dalton.
Thomas, a biology major, is a senior guard from Eden Prairie, Minn. He is one of five repeat selections to the 12-member team. He has appeared in all 27 games this season and is averaging 8.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. He is second on the club with 45 3-pointers. He now has 163 career 3-pointers, ranking him third on the school's career chart. In the current NCC statistics, Thomas is fourth in the league in 3-point percentage (51.1 percent), and tied for fifth in 3-pointers made (2.18 average).
Foster is a sophomore forward from Big Timber, Mont., majoring in exercise science. He has appeared in all 27 games and started the last 17 contests. He is second on the team in scoring at 11.5 points per game and leads the squad in 3-pointers with 46. In addition, he averages 3.2 rebounds per game and has 24 assists and 25 steals. In the NCC statistics, he leads the conference in 3-point shooting (55.8 percent) and is tied for fifth in 3-pointers made (2.18 average).
Dalton is a
sophomore guard from Waukegan, Ill., with majors in sports management and accounting. A point guard, Dalton has come off the bench in all 27 games to average 1.6 points and 0.6 rebounds per game. He is third on the club with 55 assists and sixth in steals with 16. He is also shooting 82.4 percent (14 of 17) from the free throw line.
