Vikings’ Hofer Earns Place on Academic Team
Augustana's Whitney Hofer earned a spot on the 2007-08 Academic All-North Central Conference Wo
men's Basketball Team, the league office announced today.
Hofer, a junior forward from Hartford, S.D., was named to the team for the second straight year. She is one of four repeat selections named to the 11-member squad. She is a nursing major.
Hofer has started all 28 games for Augie this year. She is fourth on the team in scoring and second on the club in rebounding, averaging 10.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest. She is also third on the team in assists with 77 and third in blocks with 18.
