THEATRE HONOR SOCIETY HOSTS FUNDRAISER MARCH 29
Honor students perform to aid Heifer International

SIOUX FALLS - Alpha Psi Omega (APO), Augustana’s Theatre Honor Society, is hosting a silent auction and musical performance on Saturday, March 29, to benefit Heifer International.

The silent auction begins at 7:00 p.m. followed by a musical performance at 7:30 in the Edith Mortensen Center, located on the campus of Augustana College. Dessert will be served in the theatre lobby during intermission of the performance. Bid winners will be announced at the end of the show.

“We’ve Got Heart: A Night of Song, Dance, Dessert, and Giving,” is the title of the theatre performance.  All proceeds go to Heifer International, an organization fighting world hunger. Headquartered in Little Rock, Ark., Heifer International aims to create sustainable development.

Approximately 40 students will be involved, performing selections from Fame, Annie, Guys & Dolls, and The Full Monty.

APO’s objective is to raise $1,500 with this family-friendly event.

Inspired by Lutheran scholarly tradition and the liberal arts, Augustana provides an education of enduring worth that challenges the intellect, fosters integrity and integrates faith with learning and service in a diverse world.
