Augie’s Alli Hubers Named NCC Softball Co-Player of the Week
Augustana's Alli Hubers has been named North Central Conference softball co-player of the week, the league office announced Tuesday. Hubers shares the award with Leslie Svoboda of Nebraska-Omaha.
Hubers, a senior from Pipestone, Minn., had a .500 batting average in eight of the Vikings' games on their spring trip to Florida. She collected 13 hits in 26 at-bats, recording 10 RBI, six runs, five walks, three doubles and two home runs. She had a least one hit in each of the eight games and four multi-hit games. Included was a 3-for-4 effort against Georgian Court.
Augustana went 7-1 last week and won its final seven games of the spring trip.
