Augsutana's Becky Schulz and Lindsey Schultz have qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Schulz is a senior high jumper from Westbrook, Minn. She is the 2008 North Central Conference indoor high jump champion. Her top effort this winter is 5-7¼, which ranks sixth best nationally.
Schulz will be looking for her third All-America certificate at the indoor championships. She was fifth in 2004 and 2005 before placing 12th in 2006. She sat out the 2007 indoor season as a redshirt. In addition, she is a two-time outdoor All-America high jumper.
Schultz is a senior from Lakefield, Minn. She is a two-time NCC indoor champion in the shot put, and qualified 15th for nationals with a season-best mark of 45-2¼. A two-time indoor national qualifier, Schultz placed 12th in the shot put a year ago.
The NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held March 14-15, in Mankato, Minn.
The women's high jump is scheduled for March 15 at noon, while the women's shot put is set for March 15 at 2:15 p.m.
