SIOUX FALLS - Quarterback Eric DeGraff and wide receiver Matt Holmlund were selected to the 2000 Daktronics All-Midwest Region football team by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
DeGraff, Alleman, Iowa, led Augustana (7-4) to its first winning season since 1992, completing 243 of 405 passes for 3,228 yards and 25 touchdowns. He set 10 school records and six North Central Conference marks.
Holmlund, Benson, Minn., was the nationŐs top pass catcher, averaging 9.5 receptions a game. He was fourth in yardage at 124.1 yards per game. He was voted the Most Valuable Receiver in the NCC. He set six school records and three conference marks.
Augustana lineman Ryan Stadum, Little Falls, Minn., was named to the second team offense, while cornerback Roman Evans, Lincoln, Neb., was named to the second team defense.
