SIOUX FALLS - Augustana College, champion of the North Central Region, placed four players on the American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division II All-Region team.
Senior outside hitter, Lindsay Voss, Lakefield, Minn., was named to the team for the third time.
Twins Kari and Katy Peterson, Moorhead, Minn., were named to the team each for the second time. Kari, a junior, is the Vikings' setter. Katy, a senior, is a rightside hitter.
Making her first appearance on the team is senior middle hitter Lori Fossum, Canton, S.D.
Rounding out the team are senior outside hitter Tracy Ankeny of the University of Nebraska-Omaha; freshman outside hitter Erin Deffenbaugh of the University of Northern Colorado; senior outside hitter Rose Ebnet of South Dakota State University; senior middle blocker Erin Ellis of Rockhurst University; junior rightside hitter Nikki Mastny of UNO; sophomore setter Angie Rime of SDSU; senior outside hitter Anne Sitek of the University of Minnesota-Duluth; and junior middle blocker Shauna Sturm of SDSU.
