SIOUX FALLS - Augustana point guard Tamera Oltmanns has been named North Central Conference women's basketball Player of the Week.
The 5-foot-10 junior from Lennox, S.D., scored 19 points to lead the Vikings past Dakota Wesleyan University, 75-54, in their season opener Sunday night in the Elmen Center. Oltmanns was seven-for-13 from the field, two-for-two from 3-point range, and three-for-three from the free throw line.
In addition to her scoring, Oltmanns had nine rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and two blocked shots.
