Three New Members Elected to Augustana Board of Regents
SIOUX FALLS - The Augustana College Association elected three
new members to the Board of Regents during its annual meeting December
6.
Elected to three-year terms are Dennis Anderson and Bill Lindquist
of Sioux Falls, and Don Randolph of Port Charlotte, Fla.
Anderson, who graduated from Augustana in 1978, is the President
of First Dakota Title, a company he founded in 1989. From its beginning
with four employees and one office, First Dakota Title now has 45
full-time employees working in seven offices in three states. He
is a member of the Augustana Booster Board, campaign volunteer for
the Sioux Empire United Way, member of the El Riad Shrine, serves
on the board of the Sioux Falls Development Foundation, and, along
with his wife, Julie, serves as co-president of the Lincoln High
School Band Parents Association. Dennis and Julie are the parents
of two sons, Jeffrey and Michael.
Lindquist majored in business administration and economics at
Augustana College, earning a bachelor's degree in 1982. He is Executive
Vice President of Wells Fargo Investments and manages the Sioux
Falls Private Client Services. In addition to his managing responsibilities
with the brokerage and personal trust areas, he handles individual
and institutional accounts for clients primarily in South Dakota.
He has been an active member on several local boards, including
the YMCA, Volunteer and Information Center, Daughters of the American
Revolution, and the South Dakota Symphony. Bill and his wife, Lorrae,
are the parents of three sons - Don, Eric, and Steve.
Randolph graduated from Augustana in 1966 and worked in the college's
Admission Office for several years. He began a career in real estate
in Sioux Falls, eventually moving to Minneapolis, Minn., to become
an officer in a national real estate corporation. Eight years ago
he moved to Port Charlotte, Fla., where he owns Sunstar Realty,
a Caldwell Banker franchise. He has been active in support of charitable
campaigns in Florida. Don and his wife, Susie, are the parents of
six children.
Reelected to the Board of Regents are Vance Goldammer, Sioux Falls;
Curt Hage, Sioux Falls; Carol Rae Hansen, Poolesville, Md.; John
Hamre, Bethesda, Md.; Pamela Madsen, Sioux Falls, and Karen Pfeifer,
Worthington, Minn.
Leaving the Board are John Archer, Sioux Falls; Don DeHaan, Sioux
Falls; and Dave Solberg, Billings, Mont.
