Augustana Deaf Awareness Presents “Burst of Sign”

SIOUX FALLS, SD - Augustana Deaf Awareness announces its spring production, “Burst of Sign,” to be held Friday and Saturday, April 11-12.

“Burst of Sign” incorporates signing, music, poetry, comedy, skits, and much more. This year's theme is “Fun in the Sun.” It is a unique blend of American Sign Language, exposure to Deaf culture, and exciting visual elements. The production will be signed and voiced simultaneously.

Performances are at 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, and at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12. All performances are in Kresge Recital Hall in the Humanities Building.

Admission is $1 for Augie students, $3 for non-Augie students, and $5 for adults. Admission for non-Augie students and adults includes a raffle ticket. Extra raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 each.
