Augustana Community Service Day Saturday, April 26

SIOUX FALLS - Augustana College observes its 10th annual Community Service Day on Saturday, April 26.

More than 250 Augustana faculty, students, and staff have volunteered to help with projects at 23 agencies in Sioux Falls. This year's theme is “You must be the change you wish to see in the world,” - Mahatma Ghandi.

The day begins at 9:15 a.m. with a send-off at the Chapel of Reconciliation on the Augustana campus. The volunteers will work on community projects from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A picnic from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. on the campus green includes music by the “Augustana Choirboys” and the a cappella group “No Limit.”
